The Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center

Maltz Center interior

The first Phase of The Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center at The Temple  ̶  Tifereth Israel is complete. The renovation and repurpose of this historic space will be the new home of the talented and promising performing arts students and faculty of Case Western Reserve University. In addition to Case Western Reserve’s performing arts programs, the Maltz Performing Arts center will also host lectures, including Think Forum and performances from other cultural organizations.

Case Western Reserve’s performing arts programs has continued to grow over the years and is in need of a greater space for the theater, dance and music departments. In the second Phase of the Maltz Performing Arts Center, new performance spaces will include a proscenium-style theater, rehearsal studios, practice rooms, classrooms, and costume and scene shops. State-of-the-art technology will be outfitted throughout the entire complex. When completed, the Maltz Performing Arts Center will see a flurry of activity from our students who will learn, rehearse and perform in this unique space honing their craft for generations to come that will enrich the Case Western Reserve community.
