
The Case Western Reserve University Department of Music will present the program Wine, Women and Song! on Sunday, October 2 at 3 p.m. The concert will be performed by Panorámicos, the newly appointed mixed chamber Ensemble in Residence CWRU. The concert will be held in Harkness Chapel, 11200 Bellflower Rd. on the Case Western Reserve campus.
Wine,Women and Song will feature works by Cleveland Composer Stephen Stanziano; Brahms’ Two Songs for Soprano, Viola and Piano; Duruflés Prelude, Theme and Variations for Flute, Viola, and Piano; and Previn’s Four Songs on Poems of Toni Morrison for Soprano, Cello and Piano. The program will close with the Trio Op. 45 for Flute, Cello and Piano by Louise Farrenc.
The Panorámicos residency at CWRU is made possible through the generosity of the Bascom Little Fund. During their residency, the group will present programs and works featuring Cleveland area composers, who will be present to discuss their works and the creative process. In addition to public performances, Panorámicos will offer open rehearsals and masterclasses to the CWRU community.

General seating tickets for the concert are $10 and available the door. The concert is free for CWRU faculty, staff and students. Harkness Chapel is wheelchair-accessible.
